Last Week!!!

I usually write on Fridays but this weekend we filmed the trailer. We had to............. throw out the original script and trailer. We ended up doing something totally different from our script. On school on friday we recorded the voice over. I personally think it turned out pretty good! This weekend was very stressful! I wish we had started/finished the project sooner. Too add to the stress of just finishing the project, Heidi and I had to teach Alissa how to ride a horse. Even though this weekend was full of stress we all had a lot of fun! All of our friends helped out a lot! I wanna thank Anna Cotter, Abbie Beitler, Trevor Hart,  and Dalton Brown. I wanna say one thing. My friends Alissa, Heidi, J.Ben, and I had our differences but in the end I think we all had a good time. After our final presentation I'll upload the trailer here and youtube on my channel! See ya

Week 10!!!!!

Well today was an unusual day at school. I brought all my special effects make up to school. I practiced the decaying flesh look and some more scratches on Heidi a.k.a Paige. It was very fun!!! Everyone wanted me to do make up on them so I did a big gash on Kate's fore-arm and blood pooling under the skin of Stuart's fore-arm. Stuart called it "cancer." I also worked on making your skin look dirty and kinda decaying. Hopefully next friday I can bring my make up again so we can do the picture for the poster. J.Ben worked on.........Well I don't really know. We hopefully, no we ARE getting the shots we need for the movie trailer over christmas break. Im getting really stressed because we haven't started working on our slides for the final presentation and at this moment we don't have a final product to show... So we have lots of work to do. Sorry! last week I didn't right a blog, and I'm late on righting this one........ Well friday we read through our script and got into characters. We all realized were not going to finish this movie by the end of the semester, so were gonna make a movie trailer and poster for our final product! We also decided to change the name of our movie. Here are some names I came up with.

• The Day of Change
• Changing for the Worst
• The Loner Survivor
• The Transformation

Well I know they are not the best but whatever. We all came up with 5-4 names over the weekend. Were gonna vote on which one we like the best this week!

Week 8

Well its monday and I'm just now getting to my weekly blog. I wasn't at school Friday so I don't know what J. Ben and Heidi did. Alissa wasn't there either. Alissa finished the script this weekend. It was great... Wait scratch that is was amazing!!!! The ending is by far my favorite part. It's so dramatic and just amazing!!! That's really all I can I don't want to reveal any spoilers... Well that's really it. Oh yeah! J. Ben decided to not be one of the characters instead he will be the editor/filmographer. He will be gone all thanks giving week and Christmas so we need to really crack down on filming. Last week i got all the make up I need!!! I bought extra liquid latex so I could practice making the rips and tears. Um... the only other thing I need is colored contact. Im gonna try to order those this week!!! Well that it for this week!

Week 7

Today our teacher was out because he split is tooth during a game of student vs. teacher basketball. besides our teacher being gone one of senior friends was working in the black box so we got to work in there!!!! We added to the new script and read through it a couple of times. After school friday Alissa, Heidi, and J.Ben cam over and we filmed on of our scenes!!! It was frustrating because J. Ben kept forgetting one of his lines, So i ended up with his line. We are still behind but at least we are starting to film. We had lots of fun though filming and even made two new friends. They helped us shoot the first scene so it all turned out great. We still have to finish the last scene of the script. We want to film this coming up weekend but Alissa is busy and she's in every scene so we cant........Oh, I got to test some of the make up and it turned out really good!!!!! Its amazing what you can do with liquid latex, face paint, and fake blood. Well until next time. Bye!!!!

Week 6

It's 20% day again. Last week we finished the script, but a lot of it was just paragraph form. Today, we turned half of the paragraph into dialog. We are way behind and its getting to the point I feel like we might not finish it. I fell bad because every Friday we sit down and plan to do work, but we usually end up getting of topic. Its easy for us to get off topic because we all are friends. Also, today we all vowed to not make plans next weekend so we can begin filming. This week I plan on gathering the money from everyone and go buy all the make up we are going to need. Next week-end we plan on getting all the shots we need with out zombies. Since Alissa lives in Gulf Shores ,which is 45-60 minutes away, she will spend the night at my house Friday. We plan to work after school on Friday and some on Saturday. Hopefully we can get a lot done this week. Until Friday ttyl.

Week 5

Today we finally finished the scripts. We are still way behind our schedule. We really need to pick up the pace. Last week we got a lot more done than this week. This week I hope we can get together and start shooting. Actually not hope we HAVE TOO!!! We are half way through the semester so we still have some time but not that much time. We had planned to have some of the video recording done by now but we have none. In the end I feel like the short film will turn out good, but if we don't start really working now its going to be a disaster.  Today, we figured out all the makeup we will need and how much it will cost. It all ended up being around 50-60, so we decided we would all pitch in 15-20 dollars. I really hope things start falling into place soon. Until next time bye!!
